A couple has shared their family’s reaction to opening their walk-in closet and discovering baby onesies revealing a new arrival is on the way.
As moms, dads, brothers, and sisters of Evani Kaur and Gurpal Singh saw the messages on the onesies in front of them, there were immediate screams, jumps of joy and even tears.
The couple live in New York and the journey to that point has been tough, Evani, 25, said, as she suffers from Polycystic ovary syndrome.
Having received the good news that she was pregnant, though, Evani and Gurpal, 30, started thinking of ways to inform their families.

They decided on custom onesies – each one featuring a specific message.
The couple headed to a prayer ceremony, where they then convinced certain members of the family to come back to their house.
There, in the walk-in closet, the baby onesies were arranged, and Evani encouraged her family to enter as Gurpal recorded on his cellphone.
Evani said: “Of course, everyone was beyond happy and excited – I felt beyond overwhelmed with joy and super blessed to have such a beautiful support system around me.
“Everyone always says it takes a village to raise a child, and, honestly, I wouldn’t have chosen any other village than this one to raise our child with.”
