Softball Star Left Speechless by Surprise Homecoming From Navy Brother

She thought he wouldn’t make it home before deployment — until she saw him outside the window.

A teen jumped from her chair to run through her favorite restaurant when she was surprised by her sailor brother.

Kherington Keith, 16, from Cartersville, Georgia, shares an extremely close bond with her big brother Grayson, who serves with the United States Navy.

Having recently graduated from A School in San Diego, Grayson told his sister he didn’t think he’d have time to visit home before reporting for his next duty station in Washington State.

But little did Kherington know that Grayson had been working on a surprise with his family.

As Kherington enjoyed a meal after her softball tournament, she noticed her brother heading towards the restaurant through a nearby window.

She immediately jumped from her seat, ran through the restaurant and gave her brother a huge welcome-home hug.

The moment was captured on video by the pair’s older sister, Kayla Jensen, 31, who later shared the clip on social media.

Kayla, whose husband is in the Navy and encouraged Grayson to follow that career path, said: “Their bond is absolutely amazing.

“It’s a bond that everyone hopes that they have with their sibling.

“It was tough watching him leave for the military, but she knows this is something that is so good for him and distance isn’t going to keep them apart.

“I was so excited all day for her to see him.

“I kept telling my stepmom that Kherington was going to cry and she was going to be so excited.

“My heart was so full – there’s nothing like that feeling for sure.”
