An emotional groom was so overwhelmed with love after being told he could kiss his bride that he broke down in tears on the altar and could not walk back down the aisle.
Destiny and Aaron “Myles” Morgan, both 26, from Lindale, Texas, have known each other for more than 12 years, having first met while in middle school together.
The pair became friends, and though some teachers joked that they would eventually end up together – with Destiny and Myles even trying out a very short-lived high school romance – they eventually went their separate ways when they went to college.
According to Destiny, both she and Myles had their own partners, but after both were cheated on, Destiny decided to one day reach out to a now-single Myles, saying how much their messages and friendship used to mean to her.
From that moment on, the pair were “inseparable,” which led to a five-year-long relationship that, after many trips together, built up to their wedding day.
On June 17, 2023, Destiny and Myles wed on Chandelier Farms, in Terrell, Texas, with videographer Jorge Nunez of 47 Weddings capturing the ceremony on video.
After the vows, Myles was told he could now kiss his bride – which he did, only to then burst into floods of ugly tears.
The wholesome moment led to loving reactions from friends and family present, as Myles had to take a second to compose himself while Destiny comforted him.
Footage of Myles’ loving reaction to his new wife was later shared on social media by Jorge, with many viewers expressing how much they enjoyed seeing the moment.

Destiny said: “We had just had our first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Myles Morgan, and I was so ready to walk down the aisle with my husband.
“I did not even realize Myles was crying at first until I looked at him.
“I am usually a crier, but I think all of my tears were gone from the morning – I cried all day.
“My first thought when I saw him was, ‘Oh my goodness, I love this man’.
“I hugged him and made sure that he was okay before we started walking.

“I always joked with Myles before the wedding that if he did not cry when I walked down the aisle, I was going to turn around and we were going to start over.
“To have my husband react that way after not only what I have been through in relationships, but what he has also been through, is something I will never forget.
“It is a moment that is so hard to put into words because of the emotion behind it.
“I feel like that moment is what love really is.
“Love makes you feel safe and secure to let emotions like that be displayed in front of others.”
