This is the adorable moment a jittery groom offers a wedding handshake instead of an arm-in-arm escort, sending his bride into giggles and the internet into a swoon.
After the clip went viral online, the couple has been dubbed perfect for each other thanks to their sweet reactions to the nervous mistake on their big day.
Whitney Say and Walker Padgett’s sweet moment took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after Whitney and her father, Douglas, 57, had started to make their way down the aisle.
Walker, 27, greeted the pair before shaking his father-in-law’s hand with a smile on his face.

But then, in a burst of nervousness and excitement, Walker shook his wife-to-be’s hand rather than guiding her down the rest of the aisle.
Whitney, 26, immediately started laughing with her bridesmaids, and Walker was a good sport, too, simply going along with the moment.
It wasn’t until the couple’s wedding videographer, Julianne Milne of Soirée Social, posted the clip online that they saw how wholesome people found such an interaction.
Walker said he didn’t realize what he had done until his wife explained after, and with the clip now online, the couple saw thousands of comments about how sweet the unplanned nervous gesture was.

“Walker was a great sport and laughed it off with us.

“The response has truly blown us away.
