A couple used a gameshow-style game to announce to their shocked family that they were expecting triplets.
Shannon and Tyler Murdock’s friends and family gathered for the gender reveal party in Ontario, Canada, not knowing how monumental the news was about to be.
After discovering she was pregnant, Shannon, 31, decided to take an early ultrasound at six and a half weeks because of certain health conditions.
And while in the ultrasound room, the couple first saw the technician labeling “A” and “B” on the scans – before discovering there were, in fact, three individual sacks.

Shannon said it was the strangest and most exhilarating feeling, as she and Tyler, 32, had not used IVF or had any history of triplets in their family.
As a high-risk pregnancy, the couple decided to tell their closest family members they were pregnant right away, before gathering their friends and extended family for a bigger triplet reveal after their 20-week scan, once they knew all three babies were healthy.
Having received the good news, and with everyone eagerly gathered, Shannon and Tyler planned a gender reveal that would play out similarly to the Baby A, B, and C surprise they had initially felt.
Tyler first asked everyone gathered to raise their hand if they thought the couple were set to have a boy or a girl before getting the surprise rolling.
The 32-year-old then said he wanted everyone to have a chance to win, so he asked that two boxes be brought out, labeled Baby A and Baby B.

There were stunned responses all around, with friends and family screaming and shouting out how shocked they were that the couple were set to welcome twins.
But then, the bigger surprise: Tyler announced that there needed to be a winner – more boys or more girls? – and so they would be welcoming triplets in February 2025.
The announcement and bringing out of a Baby C box resulted in an enthusiastic response to the original faux twin surprise, with the couple capturing everyone’s reactions on video.
The three boxes were then opened, with pink balloons coming from one and blue balloons from the other two.

On their TikTok channel, Murdock Multiples, the surprise videos have received millions of views and an outpouring of love from viewers.
Shannon said: “We decided to throw a gender reveal for our friends – though it really was a triplet reveal.
“We had done our own private gender reveal, just the two of us, and we were so happy we did.

“When we did the big triplet reveal, even the family members who knew about triplets didn’t know about the genders, so that was very fun and exciting to surprise them with that.
“It was great to capture everyone’s genuine reactions on video, especially because they had noidea we would be telling them.
“Everyone just absolutely loves the reactions to our videos.
“It shows the genuine reaction and shock from our family and friends.”
