Man Surprised by Grandma After Four Years Apart

A man who thought he was filming a surprise was instead surprised by his grandma, who he had not seen for four years.

Santiago Patiño Cano could not believe his eyes as he waited at the airport in Columbus, Ohio, for what he thought was his wife’s sister.

But as he watched the arrivals hall, he was stunned to see his beloved grandma Betty Rodriguez being wheeled through in her wheelchair.

Overcome with emotion, he rushed to hug her, having not seen her in person for four years.

Santiago said: “My girlfriend told me that her sister was coming from Venezuela, but in reality, it was a surprise for me.

“I was making videos to record their reunion, but I ended up being surprised myself.”

After their emotional reunion, Santiago and Betty spent two days catching up.
