Mom Cries Tears of Joy as Seven Daughters From Five States Surprise Her

Jane Ogletree hadn’t seen all her daughters together in nearly two years—until they gave her the surprise of a lifetime.

A beloved mom screamed in shock and cried tears of happiness when her seven daughters from five different states travelled to surprise her.

Jane Ogletree, from Provo, Utah, hadn’t had all of her daughters together in one place for almost two years, with them living in Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Texas and Utah.

The mom was invited to speak at a large women’s conference, but she was extremely nervous about the prospect of talking in front of so many people.

So her daughters thought a trip home to visit their mom and calm her nerves would be the perfect opportunity to get everyone together once more.

On May 1, with Jane extremely busy and not responding to calls, one of her daughters who lives nearby headed to Jane’s home to drop off a drink from Swig, a popular beverage shop in Utah.

Then there was a knock at the door – as Jane headed to answer it, she was greeted by her entire family.

The shock of the reunion caused Jane’s jaw to drop, and she let out a scream, bursting into joyous tears as her daughters entered her home.

Numerous siblings captured the sweet moment on video, and after the initial surprise, they took Jane out to get her nails done and to treat her to lunch.

Daughter Callie later shared a video of the surprise on social media, where she captioned that there were eight daughters present that day, as Jane’s daughter-in-law is treated like a daughter.

“So, when she was elated, it was the happiest thing ever and made every dollar spent worth it.

“She’s been the most amazing mom and always doing things for other people – it was so fun to do something for her, it had all of us in tears.

“It’s rare we can all get together, since we live so far apart, so when we do, it’s the best time.”
