A four-year-old Wisconsin boy took justice into his own hands when his mom helped herself to his ice cream—by calling 911 to report her.
The Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department received the unexpected emergency call last Tuesday, in which the determined youngster demanded officers “come get my mommy.”
“What’s the address of your emergency?” the dispatcher asked, to which the boy responded, “My mommy’s been bad.”

Attempting to understand the situation, the dispatcher asked what was happening. “Come and get my mommy,” the child repeated several times until his mother intervened, taking the phone away.
“Oh, this little one got the phone, and he’s four,” the boy’s mother explained to the dispatcher. “We tried to catch him because he said he was going to call 911. I ate his ice cream,” she admitted before hanging up.

Despite the humorous nature of the call, officers followed standard protocol and visited the home to ensure all was well, as hang-up calls often prompt safety checks.
Upon opening the door, the mother couldn’t hide her surprise. “Oh, it’s the police, they came for real,” she said. She also noted that her son had cleverly used Siri to place the call.
As soon as he saw the officers, the young boy stood firm on his demand, insisting that his mom face justice for her ice cream theft.

However, the officers asked if he would prefer ice cream over his mother’s arrest, and he reluctantly admitted it was the better option.
Two days later, officers returned with the sweetest resolution—two scoops of ice cream topped with blue sprinkles, ensuring the pint-sized whistleblower got his justice in the best way possible.
