A man with cerebral palsy couldn’t hide his delight as he rose on the waters to wakeboard for the very first time.
In the uplifting video, Brendan Neary surfed his way across a lake in Warsaw, Indiana, as onlookers cheered his name – and the look on his face said it all.
The moment saw Brendan pulled along by his cousin, Matt Neary, while father Christopher and uncle Kevin stabilized the 22-year-old.

Brendan raised a delighted smile as he got closer and closer to his cousin, Kate, who captured the moment on video while shouting Brendan’s name in encouragement.
Due to Brendan’s condition, he’s unable to walk, talk or carry out basic tasks without the help of others, brother Chris said.
Chris shared the video on social media, hoping to spread positivity to others.
