Burton Knight, 90, and Edna Knight, 91, from Upton, Kentucky, started dating when they were young and today share four daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren – plus spouses.

Their granddaughter Taylor Vance, 21, wanted to capture the massive family unit in one creative shot ahead of Labor Day weekend when everyone would be gathered together.

The result? A viral video that has racked up more than 2.5 million views and shows exactly how two people’s love can create an entire village.

The clever clip, filmed on August 31, starts with Burton and Edna seated in the frame before their four daughters join them, followed by their husbands. Then the 13 grandchildren enter, waving in their partners, before a joyful swell of great-grandchildren floods the scene.

Taylor worked with her cousin Alycia to brainstorm the concept, and while it took a few takes to get right, the wholesome result perfectly captured how the couple’s love created such a close-knit family.

“Everyone was laughing and happy – we are truly blessed to have all stayed so close and become not just family but best friends.”

The emotional video resonated far beyond the Knight family, touching viewers across social media who were moved by the display of multigenerational love.

Taylor explained what makes their large family work so well: “The respect and love we have for each other is how we make it work.”

The overwhelming response has left the entire family stunned – especially Burton, who Taylor affectionately calls Papaw.

“The response to this video has blown us all away,” Taylor said. “Papaw cried tears of joy finding out the impact it had on people.”

For Taylor, the video’s viral success represents something bigger than internet fame. She hopes it reminds people that love and family can create something extraordinary.

“I hope others take hope and inspiration from this, that there is still good in the world and that you can be the start of something so big and magical,” she said.
