Rambo had been rescued and sheltered at the Humane Society of Greater Niagara, Canada.

Despite the staff’s best efforts, Rambo had struggled to be rehomed.

But after more than a year of waiting, a new owner stepped forward to give him the forever home he deserved.

And staff knew they had to give their longest resident a big send-off.

With staff lining the path outside of the shelter, Rambo strode down as everyone cheered and clapped him off.
