Dog Adopted After 372 Days Gets Guard of Honor as He Heads to Forever Home

A shelter dog who spent 372 days waiting to be adopted has finally found his forever home – and got a guard of honor as he joined his new humans.

Rambo had been rescued and sheltered at the Humane Society of Greater Niagara, Canada.

Despite the staff’s best efforts, Rambo had struggled to be rehomed.

But after more than a year of waiting, a new owner stepped forward to give him the forever home he deserved.

And staff knew they had to give their longest resident a big send-off.

With staff lining the path outside of the shelter, Rambo strode down as everyone cheered and clapped him off.
