A married couple have been discharged from hospital together after recovering from COVID-19.

Doriela and Carlos, married 45 years, were cheered on by heroic frontline medical workers as the pair left West Kendall Baptist Hospital in Florida.
The pair, admitted on the same day, left the hospital hand-in-hand after a long stay.
On the back of Doriela and Carlos’ chairs staff attached signs reading ‘JUST DISCHARGED’.
