A lovable pooch is warming hearts across social media by continually bringing his owner treasure he finds in the sand on their days out at the beach.
Two-year-old golden retriever Hudson’s loving gestures were completely of his own making, owner Maria Morgana, 35, from West New York, New Jersey, revealed.
On a day out at Island Beach State Park on August 25, Maria sat on her beach chair, keeping an eye on Hudson as he ran along the shoreline.
But then, in what completely surprised Maria, Hudson stuck his head into the sand and trotted over to his own, carrying a shell in his mouth.

Maria said she could tell this was a loving gift her pooch was presenting, as Hudson didn’t simply drop his “treasure” but instead waited for Maria to take it from him gently.
The 35-year-old captured the sweet moment on video, which was then followed by Hudson heading off again and again and again to find more treasures.
As the day passed, Maria captured a series of wholesome clips of Hudson’s searching, which she later shared on their social media account @HudsonStaysGolden.
The post soon went viral, with tens of thousands of people liking the post and hundreds commenting on how lovely Hudson’s gesture was.
Maria said: “He ran to the shoreline, stuck his head in the sand and trotted over to me with the shell.
“He didn’t just drop it off and leave – he looked at me, smiled, wagged his tail and just had this silent, ‘I-got-this-for-you-Mom’ look on his face.
“It was one of those moments where I couldn’t believe I caught it on camera.
“The first time he saw a shell, he picked it up and proudly trotted down the shore. To my surprise, he continued to do this with every large, unbroken shell he found.
“He did it so often that people started stopping us on our walks to hand him shells just because they were so happy to see how much joy his little treasures brought him.

“We met so many people who told me that Hudson made their day, even from afar.
“I instantly melted. He was bringing me his treasures, but little did he know he was my treasure.
“How lucky am I to know a love as pure as a golden’s?
“That’s the beautiful thing about dogs — they remind us what unconditional love truly is.
“I think we could all learn a thing or two from them.”
