Brother’s Birthday Trip To Texas Roadhouse Honors Teen’s Final Wish

A boy whose brother lost his cancer battle before fulfilling his dream of getting out of hospital to eat at his beloved Texas Roadhouse paid an emotional visit to the restaurant once more to honor his sibling and receive his birthday Ye-Has.

While in hospital during his cancer treatment, 17-year-old Justin Hylton was asked what meal he would like to eat when he came off his ventilator, and the teenager declared Texas Roadhouse, his favorite restaurant.

Mom Amanda, 36, from Lafayette, Georgia, and hospital staff had planned to get the meal to him as soon as possible, but unfortunately Justin passed before the family or hospital staff could make his dream happen.

During Justin’s fight, his younger brother, Noah, 10, was there by his side, and having heard about Justin’s dream, a kindhearted donor gifted the family a voucher to the restaurant, but the family said it would have been too emotional to go.

Then having visited a museum for Noah’s birthday, Noah’s parents had planned to eat at another steak restaurant, but there was a two-hour wait.

It was then that they said they felt Justin’s presence, as Noah had said that he would like to take the leap and eat at Texas Roadhouse once more.

Having made the brave step, the family said that it felt right to mention that it was Noah’s birthday, and to go through the tradition of receiving Ye-Has from staff.

As the difficult moment took place, Amanda and her husband, Chris, 45, held back tears, as Noah took everything in and thought about his brother, always having a positive outlook, his family said.

Amanda captured the beautiful moment on video, later sharing it on social media.
