An excited dog bounced with joy when his soldier dad came home after nine months on deployment.
Pierre Malveaux, from Fort Carson, Colorado, not only missed wife Molly and their two kids while he was deployed, but also their two-year-old Goldendoodle, Sirius.
So, when he arrived back on home soil after nine months, Pierre, a Sergeant First Class with the U.S. Army, walked in the door and was immediately greeted by the pooch.
There wasn’t a moment hesitation from Sirius about who was coming home, he knew it was his dad and started bouncing throwing himself wildly with excitement high into the air.

Pierre, 32, said: “He’s a third child – and is the most energetic and playful.
“He’s always excited to see us, no matter what and it’s crazy that even after being gone nine months he still remembers exactly who I am.
“It always feels good to see how excited he is to see me, and that he missed me.
“It kind of pulls at you heart to realize that even your dog missed you… he is my youngest kid and the only one that doesn’t talk back.”
