Son Brings Mom to Tears When He Returns Home Disguised as a Flower Delivery Driver for Surprise Reunion After Years Apart

Exclusive to Happily

This is the emotional moment a son brings his mom to tears after returning home from North America disguised as a flower delivery driver for a surprise reunion after years apart.

Ryu Besinan, 40, hadn’t returned home to the Philippines from Canada, where he is now based, in two years – so he wanted to plan a special reunion for his mom, Amparo, 71.

Having booked his trip, Ryu, who moved to Saskatoon, Canada for work in 2014, purchased his mother a flower bouquet before heading to her home in Davao City.

There, Amparo headed outside, where she saw a ‘delivery driver’ hand her a bouquet of sunflowers.

She immediately looked more closely at Ryu, who was wearing a helmet he borrowed from his brother, wondering if she recognized the figure looking back at her.

Then, when he removed the helmet, everything clicked for a stunned Amparo, who immediately started crying at the surprise.

Ryu, who later shared a video of the moment online where it quickly went viral, said: “I acted like a delivery guy and we borrowed a helmet from my brother.

“I was a little bit scared and nervous because I thought she would recognize me.

“As you can see in the video, she stares at me, but it looks like she’s not sure.

“Honestly, I was getting emotional too, but I was holding it back because I’m worried about my mom – she’s old, so I didn’t know what would happen, but seeing her reaction was priceless.

“I’ve had many friends message me, saying that was the most beautiful moment they’ve ever seen on social media.”
