10-Month-Old Baby’s Adorable Double-Take Leaves Internet in Stitches

Exclusive to Happily

A baby did a sweet double-take when she couldn’t tell the difference between her dad and great uncle – who family members are convinced are doppelgängers, even though they are not biologically related.

In the wholesome video, captured in Atlanta, Georgia, 10-month-old Kyrie Bell is being held by her great uncle Corey Guy, 51, when her father, Elijah Bell, 41, approaches.

A confused Kyrie looks back and forth between the two, trying to figure out which one is her actual dad.

Then, when everything clicked, Kyrie stuck out her arms in a gesture to ask to be handed back to her father – a moment her mom, Adiyah, 32, from Atlanta, Georgia, captured on video.

Corey is, in fact, Adiyah’s uncle, so he and Elijah are in no way biologically related.

But that has not stopped members of the family being convinced they look alike, Adiyah said, with Kyrie becoming the latest person to wonder who was who between the pair.

The moment was captured on video at Adiyah’s aunt’s pink-themed 60th birthday, in July 2022, and she later shared it on social media a few months later.

Adiyah said: “You can see her looking back and forth between them trying to figure it out.

“It didn’t help that they both had on pink, but she ended up choosing her daddy.

“The response to the video has been wild – first people were like, this is so cute and funny.

“They gave compliments on how smart Kyrie is, and were then shocked that her great uncle looks so good and if he’s single!

“A lot of people said that they watched it multiple times because they were having a bad day and the video made them feel better – it was great to read the joy in people’s comments.”
