A husband’s cute gesture has gone viral after he received a text from his wife letting him know she got promoted – and within an hour he turned up with champagne, cake, flowers and balloons.
Brooke McGriff had just left a meeting with her bosses when she text hubby Floyd the exciting news she had been hoping for.
Floyd, who Brooke describes as a “super cheesy, major romantic” immediately jumped into action, picking up a yellow flower bouquet he designed and made himself, balloons, four mini bottles of champagne, lunch and a cake that read “My Wife Got Promoted!!!”.
After arriving less than an hour later at A. Larry Ross Communications in Carrollton, Texas on July 5, he then delivered the celebration to Brooke who had to capture the moment on video.

She said: “I’d just gotten out of a meeting with my bosses and texted my husband letting him know I got promoted – within the hour of me texting him he showed up.
“I tell my husband everything! I had been hoping for the promotion for a while. He is my best friend and has always celebrated my successes.
“This was a typical Floyd move – he is super cheesy, a major romantic and always shows me he is thinking of me he really treats me like a queen.
