Knowing her track was going to air, Tawna secretly set up a camera in her uncleโs workshop, where her dad works, to record his reaction โ and the result had the internet collectively sobbing.
As the radio announcer introduces the song name-checking Tawna, her dad already begins to sit up and listen, ready for the first bars to play.
But even before they do, he begins tearing up with pride as the announcer explains the backstory to the song.
As Tawnaโs track plays with the lyrics, โI can still hear him say, Pumpkin pass me that 38 and scoot that line just a little rightโ, her dad begins to bawl โ wiping tears from his eyes as he reminisces.
But by the time the song reaches its crescendo with, โBut now I see what he knew all along, we werenโt just fixing cars,โ dad begins to bawl uncontrollably with joy.
Viewers were equally impressed by Tawnaโs song and her dadโs priceless reaction. One said: โAs a daddyโs girl this hit home. Sitting here bawling! Love this!โ
