A stunned mom couldn’t believe her eyes when her 11-month-old son – who was born during her studies – took his first steps during her graduation photoshoot.
Lucky Acker, from Columbus, Ohio, gave birth to son Idrees right before her last semester studying public health at Ohio State University.
Balancing school and motherhood required a lot of discipline, she said, and there was no better feeling than coming home to Idrees after a long day of classes and her internship.
When taking her graduation photos, Lucky brought an 11-month-old Idrees along with her, given he had been there during her final push to complete her studies.

As Lucky posed for photos in her cap, the 26-year-old held a smiling Idrees aloft, before kneeling down to adjust her hat.
Suddenly the youngster took his first step after step, his mom left stunned in shock, with her photographer Brenna of B Marie Photography capturing the moment on video.
Lucky said she felt so fortunate that such big life milestones for her and her son had taken place at the same time.
She added: “In the middle of the shoot, Idrees suddenly took his first steps – it was completely unexpected.
“The photographer was recording at that exact moment and captured everything so naturally.
“It truly felt like both of our milestones were happening at the same time.

“In that moment, everything just came rushing back to me: the long nights with him sleeping on my chest, his first crawl, the first time he ate food – just all of it.
“It was like watching his entire journey in a split second – it was such a special moment to witness.”
