A bride and groom came up with a unique gesture for single friends who attended their wedding – by creating a booklet featuring singletons on each table in a fun matchmaking effort.
As guests arrived at Audrey and Kenn’s big day, they discovered “Single Guests” bookleta placed on various tables, featuring photos of some of the wedding attendees looking for love.
One of the guests, Jiyenita Angeline, known as Angel, who met Audrey while the pair were studying in Seattle, Washington, arrived at the wedding and took a seat next to her friends.
They were were “screaming with laughter” and after she realized why – took out her camera to capture single guests’ reactions to the gesture, with everyone loving the idea of being featured.
Angel later stitched together the fun videos she took from the big day in Bali, Indonesia, and shared them on social media.
She said that, with Audrey’s consent, she asked to use the idea in her own wedding in the future, too.
Angel added: “I went to the wedding not knowing she had this genius idea going.
“I only realized when my friends sitting around me were screaming and laughing because they had this ‘Single Guests’ booklet on their table, inside which they saw their own faces.

“I then took out my camera to record my friends’ reactions to the booklets, because they were laughing and giggling to see their own faces, and the people they know, in the booklet.
“Everyone else at the wedding seemed to love it, as I saw people could not seem to put the booklets down.
“When I posted my video, I saw almost all of the comments are people tagging their friends and families saying they also want to do this for their own wedding, and that they had never thought about this genius ‘Singles Menu’ idea before.”
