The wholesome moment a boy hunted through dozens of graduation caps to find a fellow student in a wheelchairâs cap and return it has gone viral.
Max Carrillo, 18, can be seen standing alongside hundreds of his fellow classmates at Clear Falls High School in League City, Texas, on their graduation day May 22, 2022.
And as they all launch their caps into the night sky to mark their official graduation, the students quickly sprint to find their cap and return to their places. All except Max. He can be seen frantically hunting for a second cap, which he quickly finds many rows in front.

As he skips back to his place, he takes a beeline for fellow student, Kai Corral, 18, who is in a wheelchair to hand her back her cap.
As Max begins jumping for joy holding hands with his friend Kai, the videoâs filmer, his sister Valeria, can be heard saying, âDid you see that?â at his heartwarming gesture.
Valeria added: âWe had no idea what he was doing. After a while, we see that he was also looking for a cap for his friend in a wheelchair.
âHe runs it over to her and they celebrate together. It was the most wholesome this Iâve seen.â
Valeria says the moment filled the entire family with pride.

She said: âI remember after I was done looking at the video I turned to my dad and said to him âYou should be so proud, you did that.â
âWhen we finally met up with Max outside we asked him about it and he simply said âWhat? Itâs my friend Kaiâ – he had no idea that what he did touched so many of us.
âI think thatâs why so many people reacted positively to the video on social media. It was something he didnât plan for views or for attention, he just wanted to celebrate with his friend.â
Maxâs gesture has now even been recognized by the school district at a special ceremony at League City town hall in Texas.
