Erin Gibson, from Las Vegas, Nevada, was so stunned by her now-fiancĂ© Isaiah Scoville’s proposal that she dropped her phone at the end of the recording.

Isaiah, 26, and Erin, 25, had talked about marriage in the past, but Isaiah said he still had debt he needed to pay off before making the next step.

Little did Erin know, though, Isaiah had worked hard to pay off that debt and had designed a ring.

So, when he visited Yosemite a few weeks before his proposal with friends, he knew that’s where he was going to ask the big question, atop of Glacier Point at sunset.

A few weeks later, Isaiah and Erin drove seven and a half hours to a hotel they were visiting in the area, before Isaiah then rushed them on another 90-minute drive to the spot he had in mind.

Erin said she had no suspicions, as Isaiah had simply told her that he wanted to head to a point he liked to watch the sunset.

When the couple arrived, there was no one around, and Erin teared up a little at the beauty of the view.

She then took out her phone to record a panned video across the stunning landscape, first saying “My man took me to Yosemite” in selfie format, before flipping the camera around.

But as she panned it from left to right, capturing the stunning landscape, she ended up capturing Isaiah down on one knee ready to pop the question.

The shock of the moment caused Erin to drop her phone to stop the recording, and Isaiah then said, in what cannot be seen on video, “Erin, I need to ask you something. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”

Erin said affirmatively, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”, before later sharing a video of the moment on social media, where it went viral.

Erin admitted that she had no idea the surprise was coming, and she later discovered that Isaiah had designed the ring himself with the help of Erin’s aunt.

The couple are now planning to get married in April 2027, an hour outside Seattle.

She said: “I couldn’t believe it because we had talked about marriage before, but he said once he’s done paying of his debts.
