This is the emotional moment a stunned father was brought to tears when his son revealed that he had been saving up to purchase him a new truck, allowing his dad to drive to work once more.

Diantae Thomas surprised his father, Lester, at his home in Dothan, Alabama – and the older Thomas’ reaction showed just how much the gift meant to him.

Having entered the house and blindfolded his father, Diantae, 25, walked Lester, 56, out onto the street to reveal the gift of a Ford F150.

Shocked, Lester yelled, “That’s my truck?!” before leaping into his son’s arms and then breaking down in tears.

Lester runs a lawn care operation, and after his last truck had broken down roughly two years ago, his wife had to drive him to and from work every day.

Diantae made it a priority of his to save up enough money so that his father no longer needed his mother to fill this role – a plan he kept secret from the whole family.

Then, on June 26, having picked up the used F150 and driven it back to Dothan, Diantae, who plays in the Indoor Football League, decided it was time for the big reveal.
