A Back to the Future-obsessed groom could not help but jump for joy when his wife surprised him with a DeLorean car on their wedding day.
Chris Huber, 36, Tulsa, Oklahoma, has always loved movies and cinema, filling his and wife Emilee’s home with many “nerdy things.”
Amongst that collection are three full-size movie posters from the Back to the Future franchise, which are his favorite movies, as well as model DeLoreans, Doc and Mary McFly Funko Pops, and books about the trilogy.
This love of the series stemmed from childhood, Chris said, as he saw the first movie in second grade and later tried to make his very one hoverboard with magnets.

Knowing how much Chris loved the movies, Emilee, 33, said she had a wild idea of trying to get a DeLorean to be present on their wedding day – but she never imagined the perfect set of events that took place.
Around a year before the big day, the Back to The Future: The Musical was set to come through Tulsa, and Emilee wondered if there might be a DeLorean present.
Sure enough, one was parked out the front, and so Emilee contacted the owner, Raul Rosario of Reel Cars, and the pair worked on a plan to make sure the car was available on Emilee and Chris’ wedding day.
On June 20, at Spain Ranch in Jenks, Oklahoma, guests were encouraged to gather outside, and Raul was given the signal to drive the DeLorean up the drive.
As soon as Chris saw the vehicle, his jaw dropped, before he jumped off the ground with joy, like a little kid enjoying his big surprise.
The wholesome moment was captured on video by the couple’s wedding videographer, Luke Price of Luke Price Films, who later shared the clip online to a viral response.
After the surprise, guests took pictures in the car during cocktail hour, and Chris and his brother also donned the Marty McFly gear that was in the car.
On the couple’s honeymoon, strangers would offer their congratulations, Emilee said, and Chris would still enthusiastically say, “She surprised me with a DeLorean!”
Emilee said: “The whole day leading up to it I was so ready to get to that part of the day’s timeline.

“I honestly may have been more stressed that the surprise going well than I was about the actual wedding.
“We got everyone in place and our coordinators let Raul know he could come down the drive.
“Chris’s reaction was better than anything I could have thought of or asked for.
“It made it beyond worth it.
“Raul hopped out, in full Back to the Future II Doc Brown gear, with the soundtrack already playing.

“He had even set the present time on the time machine panel to our wedding date.”
Chris added: “Then the moment finally happened, and I was so shocked and surprised at Emilee’s surprise for me.
“She knows I’m a big nerd and would love this more than anything, and she made that happen.
“I can’t believe she hid that surprise from me for almost a year.
“I will never forget this and the thoughtfulness and planning it took Emilee to make it happen.”
