A group of determined rescuers were required to bring in a crane to save a moose that had become trapped in a flooded building site.
Staff with the Utah Department of Natural Resources headed to the building site, where they found the moose swimming around inside the frame of a home.
With no way of getting the moose out with manpower alone, the team called in the help of a crane, which they used to connect to a rope that was tied around the moose.
Then, on May 19, the crane was used to lift the thrashing animal out of the water.
Once its feet had touched down on dry land, the sorry-looking moose trudged off into the nearby woodland.
