A three-year-old boy melted hearts online when he took his favorite neighbors to his preschool open day to show them where he spends his time.
Roman Williams, from North Carolina, moved into the same neighborhood as Suzie and Wade Fulghum when he was just two months old.
His mom, Anna Butzlaff, said over the years, the families’ interactions grew from a wave and quick conversation to Roman looking forward to seeing Suzie and Wade – and even playing in their front yard together.
With Anna’s closest family in Wisconsin and Arizona, she asked Suzie and Wade to be Roman’s emergency contacts for preschool, and without hesitation, the couple said yes.
Then, with Roman moving into a new class, Anna asked her son if he would like to take Suzie and Wade to visit his new surroundings as part of an open day.

Roman immediately lit up, and on the day itself, August 16, the youngster proudly walked his favorite neighbors around his new space, showing where he would play and introducing them to his teachers.
The wholesome moments were captured on video by Anna, who later shared them on social media – where she has shared other videos of Roman, Wade and Suzie’s relationship – to a viral response.
Anna said: “I felt really grateful.
“It’s just Roman and I, so to know that there are two other people nearby that love my son enough to show up to his preschool open house meant the world.
“Adversely, it was really special that Roman was so proud to bring them.

“There’s a mutual love and admiration.
“Seeing my boy happy is all I want, and this made him so happy.
“We have many videos with Suzie and Wade on TikTok, and our audience really appreciates the relationship they’ve developed.”
