A group of thoughtful police officers put their daily duties on hold to partake in a spot of basketball with a group of local kids.
In an uplifting moment captured on video, officers from Sarasota Police Department could be seen shooting hoops with the youths – at one point even dunking.
The video was shared by the police department on Friday March 13, and received an outpouring of positive comments online.
Most of the comments said the officers were showing a true service to the community and were setting a great example.
