Dad Records Daughter’s Wedding Aisle Walk With Meta Glasses And Captures Her Big Moment Through His Eyes

A dad came up with a creative way to capture and cherish walking his daughter down the aisle, by wearing a pair of Meta Glasses.

Father and daughter Adrian Galaviz, 52, and Adrienne Galaviz Regino, 25, from San Antonio, Texas, joke that their bond is so strong they even share the same name.

Down the years, Adrian has been his daughter’s biggest supporter – at collegiate volleyball games, watching soccer and traveling together – and the pair always make sure to take selfies whether they go.

But ahead of one of the biggest moments of his life, walking his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, Adrian wanted to think of something a little more outside the box than capturing a selfie.

He settled on wearing a pair of Meta Glasses, which would allow him to capture a moment he could cherish, but also not be too imposing.

On January 17, at The Preserve, Canyon Lake, Texas, as he waited to turn a corner and walk with his daughter down the aisle, Adrian hit record on the glasses.

The 52-year-old was then able to capture guests turning around so that all eyes were on Adrian and his daughter.

Adrienne then later watched the footage back with her father, saying it brought memories flooding back, just as he had intended.

The bride later shared the video on her social media channels, where the clip went viral and viewers praised the use of the glasses.

Adrienne said: “As I watched that video I could feel as I was in that moment I walked down the aisle with my dad, I felt so many emotions all at once — happiness, nerves, and a deep sense of emotion that’s hard to fully put into words.

“In that moment, it felt like I was gently letting go of an invisible rope that had always connected us, a rope that represented the way he had guided and protected me my whole life.

“It felt like the moment where I was stepping into my own independent life, the life he had helped prepare me for.

“Even though I was moving forward into this new chapter, deep down I knew that I would always be his little girl.

“I prayed in that moment that no matter how life changes or where it takes us, the bond and relationship we share will always remain just as strong and special as it has always been.”
