Heroic Pier Manager Rescues Tangled Shark
A passerby rescued a struggling shark that had become tangled in a fisherman's net. Mike Phillips, manager of Second Avenue Pier, worked to free the shark and then helped it back into the ocean. The shark was in dire distress and would have likely died if it had not been rescued.
